Merging Talent Agreements: What You Need to Know

April 2, 2025

Data Management, Merge

Agreements are a key part of talent profiles and may include contracts, NDAs or policy acceptances. During a merge, all agreements from each record are combined automatically to ensure nothing is lost.

Unlike fields with conflicts (e.g., emails or names), agreements are part of the ‘Multiple Allowed’ field type. This means all agreements from all selected records will be merged—no manual input required.

Visual Walkthrough

If we have two talents with multiple agreements then upon merging these records, all agreements from both records will be combined automatically. The system will not prompt the user to choose which agreements to keep or merge. It will simply merge all the data without requiring user input.

Record 1 → 2 Agreements

Record 2 → 2 Agreements:

Merged Record → 4 Agreements (combined list)

4. Key Notes

  • The agreements section in the final merged profile will show all attached documents from every original record.
  • Duplicate agreements may be retained unless cleaned manually.
  • User is not asked to choose which agreements to keep.
