What Happens When an Import File Has Errors?
We’ve added a new feature to the portal which prompts the system to show an error message if the data in an import file is incorrect. Rows and fields with errors will be highlighted in red to help spot the fault easily.
Example Scenario:
The screenshot below shows a talent file. Here, the email address is a required field for the file to be processed for import. However, in the last row the email address is missing.
Let’s import this file and click on the Finalize Import button.
The file will be analyzed, and an error message will be displayed.
Close the pop-up to see more details about the error. The rows and fields where the value is missing are also highlighted.
