What is the Purpose of the “Age” Column?
The Age column is a new addition to the Talent Search interface in Senegal. This feature allows you to view the age of Talent directly within listings, giving you an immediate understanding of who may be best suited for specific events or assignments.
The Age is calculated automatically by the system from the date of birth provided on the Talent profile.
Why Does Age Matter?
Certain assignments have physical or logistical requirements that make age an important factor. For example:
- Events that span multiple days with long hours on your feet may require younger Talent who can manage extended physical activity without fatigue.
- Older Talent may still be willing to work, but in cases where clients expect high physical engagement, knowing the age in advance helps you make informed selections and avoid miscommunication.
How to Add an Age Column to Talent Listing
Click on Work in the main menu on the main screen.
Select the Talent option. The Talent Listing screen will be displayed.

Manage Columns
Click on the Reorder Columns icon (highlighted in the red box) to rearrange the Talent Listing column labels using drag and drop.

To set the position of the Age column, drag it from the Not Displayed section and drop it into the Displayed section.
- Arrange it in the desired position among the other columns.
- Click Save to apply the changes and fix the Age column in the chosen order.

Once saved, the Age column will appear in the Talent Listing, allowing you to see the age of each Talent directly and make informed assignment decisions.

Search by Age
This feature allows the agency to set up a date range while searching for Talent.
- Click on the Filters button at the top left of the Talent Listing.

- Click on Personal to expand personal-related filter fields.

- You will see Age (Start) and Age (End) fields.
- Enter the desired age range to filter Talent accordingly.

Filter Behavior
- Enter a value only in Age (Start) → Talent with that age and older will be displayed.
Age (Start) is set to 25, so all ages greater than 25 are now visible. The screenshot also shows this behavior.

- Enter a value only in Age (End) → Talent with that age and younger will be displayed.
Age (End) is set to 40, so all ages less than 40 are now visible. The screenshot also shows this behavior.

Apply both ranges, Age (Start) 35 and Age (End) 60, and it will show all data with ages between 35 and 60.

Edit a Talent’s Age
- Click on the Edit button for a Talent in the listing.
For example, Taylor’s age is 27, which is indicated through the box in this screenshot, and the arrow indicates the Edit button for the selected Talent.

- Update the Date of Birth field to change their age.
Click on Edit and change the Date of Birth, and the age will automatically update.

- Once saved, the Age column will automatically reflect the updated age.
Taylor’s age has now been updated to 41, which is the new age. This change will be reflected in the Age column.

Work with Shift Listing
Just like in Talent Listing, Age column can be added to the Shifts → Talent tab.
Access Shift Listing
From the main dashboard, click on Work in the main menu.
Select the Shift option. The Shift Listing screen will be displayed.

Shift Detail – Talent Management
From the Shift Listing, click on the Shift Name to open the Shift Detail page.

On the Shift Detail page, click on the Talent column to view the list of Talent assigned to that shift.

If no Talent is available:
Click on Add Talent (highlighted in the red box). Then click Select to open the list of available Talent.

From the list, select the desired Talent by checking the corresponding checkbox.

The selected Talent will now appear in the Talent column of the shift.

Reorder Age Column in Shift Details
- Click on the Reorder Columns icon (highlighted in the red box) to rearrange columns.

- Drag the Age column from Not Displayed to Displayed, and place it in the desired position. Just like we did for Talent.
- Click Save to apply changes.
Once saved, the Age column will appear in the Shift Detail page, showing the age of each Talent assigned to the shift.

The Age column allows you to quickly view, filter, and update the age of Talent in both Talent and Shift Listings. Using it effectively ensures the right Talent is assigned to events, improves efficiency, prevents miscommunication, and helps meet client expectations. Keeping this information accurate maximizes the value of your Talent management workflow.
