Why is Recap showing as uneditable, and how can I make it editable again?
When Recaps Become Locked
In recap configurations, if ‘Allow Talent to edit recaps’ toggle is ON, and the deadline is set to 15 minutes.
Now when Talent is committed on a shift with a Check-in recap and Shift Start time is 9:10 AM.
Once the exact check-in time is reached, the recap becomes available for the Talent. Since the deadline is set to 15 minutes, the Talent will have time until 9:25 AM to submit the check-in recap. After this time passes, the recap will be locked.
When the shift start time starts, the check-in recap will become editable or open for submission.
Talent can answer recap questions and submit the recap.
When the edit deadline is over, the recap will become Locked in the Recaps section of shift details.
Make Recaps Editable Again
This recap can be made editable by extending the deadline. For example, if the deadline is set to 6 hours and saved, the check-in recap will become editable again. It will remain editable until Shift Start Time + 6 hours.
In the Recaps section of shift details, this recap will become editable by increasing the deadline.
Another way to make the recap always editable is by turning OFF the ‘Enable Recap Submission Deadline’ toggle and keeping the ‘Allow Talents to Edit recap’ toggle ON.
In this case, the submitted recap will always be editable.
If ‘Allow Talents to edit recaps’ toggle is turned OFF in recap configuration settings.
In this case, the submitted recap will always appear Locked in the App.
Turning ‘Allow Talents to edit recaps’ toggle ON will make the recap editable or Open.
