How do I use Shift Offering feature?
Summary
The Shift Offerings feature enables agencies to create and manage specific offerings and easily assign one or multiple offerings to a shift. Offering-type recap questions can be configured in the recap template using dynamic placeholder, allowing relevant questions to be automatically generated for each assigned offering. Committed Talent can view the offerings linked to their shifts, including descriptions and attached documents, directly from the app.

This video explains how to use the shift offerings feature. To get started, click on system settings. Next, click on work. You’ll see the shifts option. Click on shifts, now you’ll see shift offerings. Click on shifts offering to access the available shift offerings. To add a new shift offering, click add shift offering. Enter a name for the shift offering. This is a required field. You can also add a description if needed. Next, you’ll see the available offering types. Select the option that best fits your shift offering. For this example, you can select drinking. You can also upload a document if needed. Once you’ve entered the required information, save the offering. You’ll see that your new shift offering has been successfully added. Next, click on work and navigate to shift. Click add shift and select create to create a new shift. Scroll down to the shift offering section. Here, you can see the shift offerings. Select the shift offering you want to add. You can select the one you added recently. You can select multiple shift offerings if needed. You can also search for a specific offering you can select it. Finally, complete all the required fields and click save to create the shift. You can view the shift offerings added to the shift in the left-hand panel of the shift detail page. Since we added two shift offerings, both of them are displayed here. Next, navigate to recap. The recap list will appear now. Click on recap templates to view the existing template. For creating a new recap template, click create. Enter a name for the template. The name is a required field. Next, click add question on the right-hand side. Enter your question and select shift offering as the question type from the drop-down. Once you select the shift offering, additional options will appear. You can add placeholder to the question to dynamically display the offering name. Complete your question by adding a placeholder where needed. Next, select the appropriate input validation. There are several options available. Click save to add the question. You can add another question if needed. For this example, you can add one without a placeholder. Again, select shift offering from question type. Select input validation alphanumeric or as per your choice. Click save to add the question. Once you’ve added all the questions, click save to save your recap template. To link the recap template to a shift, navigate to shifts and open the relevant shift that already has a shift offering assigned. Click recap template, then select setup recap template. In the recap template section, select the recap template you want to add. Next, select the desired checkpoint, such as check-in, midpoint, or another available checkpoint. You can also choose whether the recap is required or not required. Click save. The recap template will now be added to the shift. After a Talent is committed to a shift, a draft recap is created when the Tenant or Talent opens the recap form. Questions are generated based on the shift offerings. Since this shift has two offerings, two copies of each question are created. The offering name is displayed only for questions containing the offering variable. Therefore, the variable must be inserted when adding an offering-specific question to the recap template. From the app side, committed Talent can view the shift offerings linked to a shift in the app. Open the shift detail from committed screen. Scroll to see the shift products section on the shift detail screen. Tapping it opens a new screen displaying all shift offerings, including the name, description, and attached file, if any. Users can download the file to view the offering details. If no offering is attached to the shift, shift products section will not be shown. Thank you.
