Opportunities Board

Summary

Opportunity boards in a CRM allow users to manage and track opportunities effectively through two main views: list and board. The list view provides filters, pagination, and customizable entry counts for detailed data management, while the board view visually organizes opportunities by stages defined in system settings. In the board view, users can edit opportunities, view counts and values, and drag and drop items between stages, offering a comprehensive, interactive way to monitor progress and updates without leaving the screen.

We’re going to talk about opportunity boards. So opportunities are accessed within the CRM. So from CRM, you go to opportunities. When you’re on the opportunity screen, you see by default everything is in the list view. And you can use this list and its filters to find the information you want, change the number of entries, jump to certain different pages if you want to, and use this to help you manage all of your opportunities. Another way of doing it is using the board view over here in the upper right. By clicking Board view, what you’ll see are all your opportunities in the different stages that you have set up. All these stages are defined by you and set up by your system administrator in system settings. Once you have these stages and you see it in this view, you can click to edit that particular opportunity without leaving this screen. You can see the number of opportunities, the value of those opportunities, and you can drag and drop the opportunities across the different stages so that you have a full picture of what’s going on with all of your opportunities.
