Gantt Charts
Summary
Gantt charts in Senegal provide a visual overview of a project’s timeline, displaying tasks, milestones, and their associated task lists. The chart automatically pulls data from the project’s tasks and milestones, showing details such as assignees, start and end dates, and progress. Task bars change color to reflect their status, offering a clear snapshot of the project’s progress and timeline. No manual input is required for the Gantt chart, as it updates dynamically based on project data.

We’re going to talk about Gantt charts. So going into a project, you’ll find that project, click into it, and you come into the details of that project, beginning with the summary. And if the project has notes, sorry, has tasks and milestones, then you’ll have a Gantt chart and you can click on that Gantt chart. There’s nothing you need to add to or edit in this particular Gantt chart because all the information on the Gantt chart is pulled from the milestones and the tasks. So what we have here are a series of milestones in this particular Gantt chart, and these all have tasks associated with them. So here’s a task that’s not part of a milestone. These top two. And then all of these down here are different task lists within the milestone. And so you can go in and see who’s assigned to them. You can see when they’re supposed to begin, when they’re supposed to end. And all that information becomes visible to you on the Gantt chart, which covers the entire length of time for all of the task lists and milestones for this particular project. And as they are completed and in progress, you’ll see the bars change colour. So you can see how far along you are from a full picture of this project.
