Tasks & Task Lists
Summary
In Senegal, tasks and task lists help organize project work. A task list acts as a container for multiple tasks, and you can create as many as needed. To add tasks, click on a task list, specify task details (such as assignee, start and end dates, priority, stage, and task details), and save. Tasks can be edited, reassigned to different task lists, or updated with file attachments. This flexible structure allows you to manage and reorganize tasks efficiently within a project.

We’re going to talk about task lists and tasks. So in the project that we created in another video, we’ll go over to that project and then go to the tasks tab. And there we’ll have the option to add task lists and tasks. So we’ll click add task list and we’ll call it as task list two. You can call it whatever you want. And what it’s going to be is an umbrella for a number of tasks. So here we have task list two. Now we’ll click on it so we can add a task directly into that particular task list. So this is task one and we’ll assign it to an individual and we can do a start date and end date. It’s always a good idea to put those in, even though those are optional fields. Set a priority for that particular task, the stage. And then anything you want to put in here, you’ll add it into the task details and click save.

And now that task will be part of that task list and you can continue to add as many tasks into a task list as you want. And you can create as many task lists as you want. You can always come in and click edit to make any changes to that particular task, as well as add files to it and change the task list that it belongs to. Maybe it belongs to task list one. Then you could kill out task list two. Task list one, and now you’ll move that task from the task list two Task, right? So there there’s no more tasks and now we’ve moved it up to that task list. That’s how tasks and task lists work in projects.
