Welcome, in this tutorial we will walk you through how to use the mobile view, but before we begin let’s take a look to how can you use mobile view and switch to desktop view on mobile. From the profile icon, tap switch to desktop view and it will give you the full desktop view access while working on mobile device. The application will instantly switch to the desktop layout giving you access to all available features. From the profile icon, tap switch to mobile view whenever you prefer more mobile friendly interface. This flexibility allows you to work in the interface that best suits your needs. Now that you’re familiar with switching between views let’s understand the mobile UI by exploring work module. Click the hamburger menu then click the arrow icon next to the work module. From the expanded menu select the programs option. In mobile view, all information is displayed in a card layout instead of a single row as it is in desktop view. To quickly find information you need use the filters option at the top of the page. Enter a keyword such as a program name. The results update automatically to display matching records. You can further narrow your results by applying filters. Select the appropriate target program or any other available filter to display only the records relevant to your current task. Combining search and filters helps you locate records much faster. Next let’s look at how to create a shift, add notes to a shift and update a talent assignment. Open the shift listing page and click the add shift button. Complete all the required fields like shift name, shift start and end time, total hours, quantity, address, city/state/country then click Save. The shift is now created and shift detail screen is open. Next you are on the shift details page. To add a note, enter your text in the notes field and click the Add Note button. The note will be saved and displayed in the notes section. Now let’s update a talent assignment. Navigate to the talent tab and click the add talent button. Select the desired talent and add them to the shift. After adding the talent select the talent record. Open the mass actions menu from the drop down icon next to select all to see the actions and choose Move Talent. Select the shift assignment status where you want to move the talent and click on Apply Status Changes button. This feature allows schedulers to quickly update talent assignments without recreating work records. Now let’s edit an existing work record. To do this navigate to the shift listing page and click the edit icon next to the shift you want to modify. Update the required information. In this example we’ll add the new position to crew. After making the changes click the Save button. The updated information is immediately reflected in the shift details. As you can see the position has been successfully updated to crew. Now let’s see how the mass actions feature works. When multiple records require the same update you can use mass actions to apply changes quickly. First go to the shift listing page. Select one or more shift records using the check boxes. Next click the drop down arrow next to the Select All button and open the mass actions menu. Choose the action you want to perform. In this example we’ll update the shift stage from assigned to open. Review the selected records then click the save button to apply the changes. The selected shift records have now been updated successfully. Let’s look at another example using talent records. Navigate to the talent listing page and select one or more talent records using the check boxes. Open the mass actions menu. Click the drop down arrow next to the select all button and open the mass actions menu and choose the action you want to perform. Like here I’m updating the talent stage active to approved. Review the selected records then click the save button to apply the changes. The selected talents records have now been updated successfully. This feature helps you update multiple records at once.
