How Can Talents View and Manage Their Shift Requests?

The Requests screen allows Talent to view and manage their shift requests. Requests are organized into two main tabs:

  • Active: Displays current shift requests and their statuses.
  • Archived: Displays requests that are no longer active.

By default, both tabs have the All filter selected, showing all requests within the respective tab, regardless of status.

Count Badge on the Requests Menu

The Requests icon in the bottom navigation bar displays a badge indicating the total number of pending actions requiring the Talent’s attention.

This count includes:

  • Pending shift invitations.
  • Shifts pending the Talent’s commitment.

The badge helps Talent quickly identify how many requests are awaiting a response, making it easier to keep track of actionable items.

Note: Only current and future shifts are included in the count. Expired shifts (those with a date and time in the past) are excluded.

Sorting

By default, both the Active and Archived tabs display shifts in descending order based on their last modified date and time, with the most recently updated shifts appearing at the top.

Talent can change the sorting order by tapping the sorting icon in the top-right corner of the screen.

Filters

Recently introduced status-based filtering allows Talent to filter shifts by their current status.

Filters in the Active Tab

The Active tab includes the following filters:

  • All: Displays all active shift requests, regardless of status.
  • Pending Commit: Displays shifts awaiting the Talent’s commitment.
  • Invited: Displays shifts the Talent has been invited to.
  • Applied: Displays shifts the Talent has applied for.
  • Backup: Displays shifts for which the Talent is listed as a backup.
  • Pending Decision: Displays shifts awaiting a decision.

Talent can select a filter to view only the requests matching that status.

Example: Selecting Invited displays only shifts the Talent has been invited to. The corresponding shift card also displays the message:

“You have been invited to this shift”.

This makes it easier to identify invitations and review the shifts requiring attention.

Filters in the Archived Tab

The Archived tab includes the following filters:

  • All: Displays all archived requests, regardless of status.
  • Withdrawn: Displays requests the Talent has withdrawn from.
  • Declined: Displays invitations the Talent has declined.
  • Booking Cancelled: Displays requests associated with cancelled bookings.
  • Shift Already Booked: Displays shifts that have already been booked.
  • Shift Cancelled: Displays shifts that have been cancelled.
  • Shift Closed: Displays shifts that are closed.
  • Agency Declined: Displays requests declined by the agency.

The All filter is selected by default, showing all archived requests.

Talent can select any filter to view requests with the corresponding status.

Example: Selecting Declined displays shifts the Talent has declined. The relevant shift card displays the message:

“You have declined this shift invitation”.

Similarly, selecting any other filter displays only the matching requests, with a corresponding status message on each shift card.
