How is the average rating calculated?

The following columns have been added to the Talent listing page for the calculation of ratings:

  • Manual Rating
  • Supervisor Rating
  • Client Rating
  • Agency Rating
  • Overall Rating

Manual Rating

Manual Rating is the rating submitted by the Tenant user from the Talent edit page.

Navigate to WORK Settings → Ratings → Rating Settings

If the ‘Manually Rate Talent After Job Completion’ toggle is ON, then the ‘Manual Rating’ Field will appear on the Talent edit form.

Also, a Manual Rating column will appear on the Talent listing page.

If  ‘Manually Rate Talent After Job Completion’  is OFF, the ‘Manual Rating’ field will not appear on the Talent edit form and Talent listing page.

Supervisor Rating

Supervisor Rating is the rating submitted by the supervisor Talent.

On the Talent listing page, the supervisor rating will show the average of all ratings submitted for that particular Talent on the shifts worked.

Let’s consider a Talent, Jessica Andrew, who has worked on three shifts.

  • For KMC SHIFT 9, the submitted Supervisor Rating is 5.
  • For KMC SHIFT 10, the submitted supervisor rating is 2.
  • For KMC SHIFT 11, the supervisor rating has not been submitted yet.

Average Supervisor Rating = Sum of all Submitted Supervisor Ratings for a Talent / Count of Submitted Supervisor Ratings

Supervisor Rating (Average)= (5+2)/2 = 3.5

If the ‘Enable Supervisor Talent Role’ toggle is ON in Talent Profile Settings, then the ‘Supervisor Rating’ column will appear on the Talent listing Page.

On the Talent listing page, the Supervisor Rating (Average) will appear.

If the ‘Enable Supervisor Talent Role’ toggle is OFF in Talent Profile Settings, ‘Supervisor Rating’ will not appear on the Talent Listing Page.

Client Rating

Client Rating is the rating submitted by the Client / Contact from the portal.

On the Talent listing page, the client rating will show the average of all ratings submitted for that particular Talent on the shifts worked.

Let’s consider a Talent, Jessica Andrew, who has worked on three shifts.

  • For KMC SHIFT 9, the submitted Client Rating is 3.
  • For KMC SHIFT 10, the submitted Client Rating is 4.
  • For KMC SHIFT 11, the submitted Client Rating is 2.

Average Client Rating = Sum of all Submitted Client Ratings for a Talent / Count of Submitted Client Ratings

Client Rating (Average)= (3+4+2)/3 = 3

If the ‘Client can Rate Talent after Job Completion’ toggle is ON in System Settings, then the ‘Client Rating’ column will appear on the Talent listing Page.

On the Talent listing page, the Client Rating (Average) will appear.

If the ‘Client can Rate Talent After Job Completion’ toggle is OFF in System Settings, ‘Client Rating’ will not appear on the Talent Listing Page.

Agency Rating

Agency Rating is the rating submitted by the Tenant user from the portal.

On the Talent listing page, the agency rating will show the average of all agency ratings submitted for that particular Talent on the shifts worked.

Let’s consider a Talent, Jessica Andrew, who has worked on three shifts.

  • For KMC SHIFT 9, the submitted Agency Rating is 5.
  • For KMC SHIFT 10, the submitted Agency rating is 4.
  • For KMC SHIFT 11, the Agency rating is unsubmitted.

Average Agency Rating = Sum of all Submitted Agency Ratings for a Talent / Count of Submitted Agency Ratings

Agency Rating (Average)= (5+4)/2 = 4.5

If the ‘Agency can Rate Talent after Job Completion’ toggle is ON in System Settings, then the ‘Agency Rating’ column will appear on the Talent listing Page.

On the Talent listing page, the Agency Rating (Average) will appear.

If the ‘Agency can Rate Talent After Job Completion’ toggle is OFF in System Settings, Client Rating will not appear on the Talent Listing Page.

Overall Rating

The overall rating is the average of the ‘SystemRating’ and ‘Manual Rating’.

Overall Rating = (System Rating + Manual Rating) / 2

System Rating

System rating is the average of all the ratings submitted by the Agency, Supervisor, and Client. But this is subject to which toggles are enabled in system settings.

Case 1

If the following three toggles are ON in the system settings:

  • Agency can Rate Talent After Job Completion
  • Client can Rate Talent After Job Completion
  • Enable Supervisor Talent role

System Rating = (Agency Rating + Supervisor Rating + Client Rating) / Count of Submitted Rating

Overall Rating will also appear on the Talent listing page.

Case 2

If any of the toggles are off, the rating submitted by that role is omitted from the system rating calculations.

  • Agency can Rate Talent After Job Completion – OFF
  • Client can Rate Talent After Job Completion – ON
  • Enable Supervisor Talent role – ON

In the above scenario, we will ignore the rating submitted by the agency.

System Rating = (Supervisor Rating + Client Rating) / Count of Submitted Ratings

Also, as the ‘Agency can Rate Talent After Job Completion’ is OFF, the agency rating will not appear on the Talent listing page.

Case 3

  • Agency can Rate Talent After Job Completion – ON
  • Client can Rate Talent After Job Completion – OFF
  • Enable Supervisor Talent role – ON

System Rating = (Supervisor Rating + Agency Rating) / Count of Submitted Ratings

If ‘Client can Rate Talent After Job Completion’ is OFF, the Client Rating will not appear on the Talent listing page.

Case 4

  • Agency can Rate Talent After Job Completion – ON
  • Client can Rate Talent After Job Completion – ON
  • Enable Supervisor Talent role – OFF

System Rating = (Client Rating + Agency Rating) / Count of Submitted Ratings

Supervisor Rating will not appear on the Talent listing in this case.

Case 5

  • Agency can Rate Talent After Job Completion – ON
  • Client can Rate Talent After Job Completion – OFF
  • Enable Supervisor Talent role – OFF

System Rating = (Agency Rating) / Count of Submitted Ratings

In this case, Supervisor Rating and Client Rating will not appear on the Talent listing page.
