What Are Import Files?

The Import Files feature in Senegal Software CRM allows users to effortlessly create data related to leads, companies, contacts, opportunities, shifts, talents, and programs by importing a CSV (comma separated values) file that contains the relevant data. It ensures bulk record creation while ensuring data accuracy and consistency across the system. For example, if a tenant needs to generate 100 talents, multiple shifts, or multiple programs, they can do so effortlessly by importing a CSV file. Import Files saves time and effort.

Users can upload the following CRM entities:

  • Leads: Quickly add new potential clients.
  • Companies: Add clients and business partners in bulk.
  • Opportunities: Update sales pipeline data without manual entry.
  • Talent: Import talent in bulk.
  • Shifts: Streamline workforce scheduling and assignments.
  • Programs: Manage event-related data efficiently.

What Are the Benefits of Import Files?

  • The Import functionality saves time and increases efficiency. Itallows users to create hundreds of records in minutes.
  • It ensures that all data is recorded accurately and consistently across the system.
  • Automated checks prevent missing or incorrect data, reducing manual intervention.

How Does Import Files Works?

The Import functionality allows importing data related to leads, companies, contacts, and opportunities via dedicated templates. Users can download these templates to ensure accurate field alignment for CSV uploads. When uploading a CSV record, the system auto-matches column headers with CRM categories (e.g., First Name, Email Address, Phone Number) and flags unmatched fields as red for manual mapping.

Users can select fields to import and drop, finalize data, and receive email confirmation upon upload completion. Successfully imported records appear in their respective sections, simplifying bulk data entry and management.
